Legion Remix: Return to the Broken Isles This October!
Following the immense success of Mists of Pandaria: Remix, players have been eagerly awaiting news on what's next for World of Warcraft's popular limited-time event format. The wait is nearly over. Blizzard has officially announced that the next nostalgic adventure, World of Warcraft: Legion Remix, is set to launch on October 7th!
What is Legion Remix?
For those who missed the Pandaria event, a "Remix" is a fast-paced, supercharged journey through a classic expansion. Players create new characters that level exclusively within the event, gaining immense power through unique gear, powerful gems, and an infinitely progressing item similar to the Cloak of Infinite Potential. The primary goal is to experience the story at an accelerated pace and collect a vast array of transmogs, mounts, and other cosmetic rewards that become available for your entire account.
A Return to the Broken Isles
The Legion expansion is a fan-favorite, known for its compelling narrative, iconic zones, and groundbreaking features. In Legion Remix, players will get to relive the epic struggle against the Burning Legion across the Broken Isles. Key features to look forward to include:
- Class Order Halls: Re-establish your class-specific headquarters and unite your order against the demonic invasion. This was one of Legion's most beloved features, and its return is highly anticipated.
- Artifact Weapons: Wield legendary weapons like the Ashbringer and Doomhammer once more. While the original progression system will be adapted for the Remix format, the fantasy of empowering these iconic weapons will be front and center.
- Iconic Zones and Dungeons: Journey through Suramar, Val'sharah, and Stormheim, and delve into memorable dungeons and raids like The Nighthold and Tomb of Sargeras, all scaled for the Remix experience.
What's Being Remixed?
This isn't just a simple replay. Expect the core systems to be supercharged. Players will collect Bronze, a special currency used to purchase rare mounts, transmog sets (including previously unavailable color variants), toys, and other collectibles. The gear system will be completely overhauled, with gem sockets appearing on almost every piece, allowing for incredible power customization and game-breaking builds.
Prepare to once again stand against the demonic tide. Mark your calendars for October 7th and get ready to defend Azeroth in a whole new way!
